How to avoid allergens?

At home:

Avoid pets.
Avoid dusting or cover your face while dusting or use a damp cloth.
Avoid placing carpets.
Avoid using cotton or wool blankets.
Keep air-conditioner filters and air-filers clean.
Spread and dust the mattress and pillows frequently in hot sun.
    Cover the pillows and mattresses with plastic covers.
Close windows at night and avoid sleeping where there are trees outside the window
    (to avoid pollen)
Use roll-down shades instead of blinds and plated curtains.
Be sure about your tolerability with perfumes, deodorants, sprays and lotions.
Use wallpaper or mould resistant paint.
Keep damp corners of the house clean to avoid fungal moulds.

Outside the House

Light exercise is advisable for better mobility of bronchial and sinus secretions.
Cover your nose and mouth while traveling through dust-laden areas.
Avoid going to high pollen areas.
